Ravenswood Leather was founded in 1989 by Reginald Hastings. Over the years, Ravenswood has gone through many transformations, becoming the joyful endeavor that it is today, from saddle and tack repair, to historical reproductions and armor, to fantasy costumes and streetwear. We have produced clothing and props for movies, television series, and theatrical productions. For the past 25 years, Ravenswood Leather has been attending Scottish Games and Renaissance Faires as vendors.

Initially, Reginald worked to maintain the business on his own. However, as the business grew, the need for employees became more evident. To this day, Reginald still continues to oversee the training of every employee in order to maintain Ravenswood’s quality and sense of pride in the work. Reginald takes charge of all of the research and design within the company and continues to create new products at a pace that keeps our small crew very busy. All of our leather products are handmade in our brick and mortar retail and manufactory shop in Central Point, Oregon, USA.

Reginald built this company as a family oriented business, with products for children as well as adults. A father first, and a business owner second, Reginald has always worked to make sure his children were involved in the business. As they’ve grown, they continue to attend events and help out with events.

We could not have come so far without the help of our wonderful crew. An amazing and fine group of individuals form the Ravenswood family. We are so very blessed and lucky to be doing what we truly love. We hope that the joy in our work and pride in our quality spills over to you — our friends and customers. Over the years, we have received unbelievable support and encouragement from our patrons, and now is as good a time as any to say, “Thank you so very much.” Please feel free to stop by and say hello to Reginald and Christina Hastings at the Central Point store or at one of the shows. We are excited to see those of you that we know this coming year, and we look forward to meeting those of you who only know us by website or reputation.
